Could You Imagine If Everyone Was A Procrastinator?
Procrastination! Are you a procrastinator? Everyone knows what the word means and everyone does it.
Weather it’s getting up in the morning, doing dishes, getting ready for work, cleaning the car, fixing things around the house, studying for a test, looking for a job, doing taxes, making unwanted phone calls, exercising, dieting. That covers about 80% of what most people procrastinate about.
A good way to Not Procrastinate about doing things, is to put the word into context. Inside the word procrastination is the word “castrate”. Right now guys are probably going “whoa”, wait a minute”. They know, as well as horses, sheep, dogs and cats, to name a few, what the word castrate means. If you actually visualize the word, castrate, inside the word, procrastinate, maybe you will stop saying, “Why do it now?” “It’ll still be there tomorrow”, It’s not going anywhere”!
Could you imagine if everyone procrastinated? What the world would look like. People would be walking around like something out of a zombie movie. There would be dead grass everywhere, unpainted houses, smells from garbage being left around. To go on would be just too unscrupulous to imagine.
So, STOP and think about the word, procrastination, and maybe you’ll get the things done that need to be done.
