Declutter Day

how can i ask my mom to plan a garage sale?
okay well we have a lot of junk, and my parents think so too. so i always ask if we can mplan a garge sale on august 10 (national garage sale day) but they keep saying no, we would still have to declutter and its a lot of work. should i just ask some friends (close family friends) if they can just help me organize things and t them in boxes and then like a couple of weeks before do youit hink we could just still plan it?
as in pricing, what to sell, and what time to what time?
Offer to split the proceeds with them and you run it. The prospect of not having to do anything and get part of the cash should appeal to anyone.
The price should depend on how bad you want to get rid of the stuff. Start high and write OBO under it. (Or Best Offer). It won’t take long to learn what is a fair price.
