Becoming A Professional Organizer
Advice on becoming a Professional Organizer?
I am extremely interested in becoming a professional organizer and I want to know the “in’s and outs” of everything that go’s along with it.
1. Is this such a thing?
2. Do you always have to start your own business?
3. Are there people hiring for Organizers?
4. would it be ok to start somewhere like, craigslist?
5. would I have to shell out a lot of money to start?
etc… I guess if anyone has ANY advice I would love to know.. I know I could do it, and do it well. it would be amazing to have this as a side job or even career!

2. Do you always have to start your own business? No, in fact it would probably be best to start out under someone or take classes/get certified
3. Are there people hiring for Organizers? It depends. It’s a luxury item these days and so many people are writing articles on how to organize your stuff – which takes away from the demand.
4. would it be ok to start somewhere like, craigslist? The best thing is by word of mouth – building the reputation is KEY
5. would I have to shell out a lot of money to start? Not a lot but some – get certified, see if there is someone in your town you can work under/with and go from there.
